The Hudson City School District marked the start of construction of a new track and athletic field complex with a groundbreaking ceremony Monday, 4-3. The track and athletic complex is the first phase of the district’s $20 million capital project and will include an eight-lane running track, field that can be used for football and soccer, steeplechase area and additional jumping pits, as well as interior and exterior bleachers, press box, scoreboard and sports lighting.
